Hi, I’m Victoria Kennedy. Thank you for visiting my site. I know that if you’re here, your child is likely finding things hard right now. As a parent myself, I understand how stressful and heart-breaking that can be.
I created this practice to offer families the kind of personalised support and guidance that’s often so hard to find. My background spans mainstream and specialist education, teaching children of all ages and abilities. I’m deeply committed to helping young people succeed in ways that are meaningful to them. Continual learning is my special interest, and over the years I’ve completed extensive CPD training in areas such as safeguarding, SEND leadership, sand tray therapy, supporting autistic learners, parenting, and SEND law (IPSEA levels 1, 2 and 3).
Beyond my professional qualifications, I’m also mum to two wonderful neurodivergent boys, one of whom we home educate. I’m active in our local home‑ed community, and as an autistic, ADHD adult myself, I bring lived experience to my work. This combination of professional expertise and personal insight means I truly understand what it’s like to navigate the world – and the education system – as a neurodivergent person.
When I’m not advocating for families or reading up on SEND law, you’ll often find me walking vast, big‑sky beaches, exploring historic destinations linked to witches and magick, or getting lost in fantasy fiction (I’m a huge ACOTAR fan!). These passions keep me grounded and inspired, reminding me that every journey—whether through a story, along a shoreline, or within our own lives—is unique and meaningful.
I host a free facebook page for parents of children unable or struggling to attend school- 'When they can't (attend school) not won't'
